40 Easy Toddler Activities to Do at Home

Looking for something your toddler can actually do, enjoy, and learn from, without spending hours setting everything up? Toddlers can lose interest in an activity in minutes, so I prefer activities that are simple enough for me to prepare quickly but still give little hands and curious minds something meaningful to explore.

This post is filled with easy, hands-on activities using simple materials you may already have at home. While the activities are designed with 2–3-year-olds in mind, consider your own child’s abilities and comfort level before introducing a new activity. And because toddlers are wonderfully unpredictable, adult supervision is important for every activity.
